I previously left a fake 5 star review in an attempt to get my deposit back. (See the other L.Wolf review). Here is what really happened.
I Placed my request online. I received a quote to move my 1970 mustang from AZ to CA for $350 total. The last time I moved the car it was about the same price so I wasn't surprised at the low price.
I had to give a $150 deposit through my paypal account to lock in the quote, and get a date to have the car picked up. No problems to this point....
Shortly before the date the car was suppose to be picked up I received an updated quote of $700......WTF?!?!?!?!?
I call and they said that the truck who was suppose to pick up my car isn't available anymore and I have to pay the $700 to get my car moved. Um.....no thanks, I will find someone else, just give me my deposit back....
The guy I am talking to says that he can't do that, and I needed to call accounting. Gives me the number, and I leave a message. I NEVER receive a call back. So I start calling this place daily in an attempt to get my deposit back. After a week of calls I talk to the same guy I spoke with initially and he says that he has to talk to his boss to get my deposit back to me, says he will call me back....never does. Continue to call this place just on principle at this point....no answer for several more days.
Finally someone answers the phone again, this guy says he is the owner, and the last guy no longer works here.
Great, this guy will surely help me, right?
No, he says all deposits are non refundable, and he isn't interested in giving me my deposit back. I tell him I am going to take him to small claims court, kill his business on social media, ect...the guy won't budge.
So I change tactics, "what if I leave you a five star review", I ask. BOOM, the guy loves the idea, he gives me this website (www.transportreviews.com) and gives me the right business name to leave the review for and says as soon as he sees the 5 star review he will mail me the check for my deposit. That was back in July....still don't have my check.
I have made several more calls since then....

Find someone else to move your car. This guy has no interest in actually moving you car, he is just going to take your deposit and then hose you.
