In March 2015 I contacted United Auto Logistics to ship my son's car to him. He has joined the Marines and had been deployed in CA. Doug Jenkins at United Auto Logistics was fairly helpful, although I had to call back several times to clear up issues, such as the way the payment was structured, since what he told me did not correspond to the information he had emailed me. I had understood that the whole $800 would be charged to my credit card, $100 at pickup and the rest at delivery. It turns out the remaining balance is due on delivery, in cash or a money guarantee.
The vehicle was picked up 2 days late, after the scheduled date, and then. although delivery was estimated a week later, the driver stopped answering his phone or returning texts and we had no idea where the car was and thought it had been stolen.
Finally, after 5 days, my son managed to track him down and it became evident that the car's rear windshield had been shattered. The driver offered my son $400 discount to replace the windshield, but it ended costing $522 and he had to take a day's leave to get the car repaired.
Also, when my son did receive the car it was covered in oil, probably from another car that had been on the top of the truck.
I would never use this company again, or even consider referring someone to them!
