Please don't use this company! We were told by the broker, "Matt," that it would be $900 total to ship our car. $150 for the broker fee and $750 for the driver. We were also told that the price would NOT go up, and that the car would be picked up by Monday at the latest. It's Wednesday, and the car still hasn't been picked up. Ultimate Auto Transport just called to inform me that their driver isn't willing to do it for so cheap, and they asked for $1150 total. "Frank" said their driver was willing to do it for $1050, and that they'd bring their broker fee down to $100. We said no, then he said he'd call and see if they would be willing to knock off $50, making it a total of $1100. Are you kidding me? Who asks for $200 extra after the person has signed up for your service? I suggested that they waive their broker fee to make up for it. "Frank" said that "Matt" quoted us way too low, about $300 too low, and said "Well, I'm not working for free." Well, buddy, you should work for free if you give your customers an inaccurate quote, promise it won't change, and then ask for more money. That's 100% on you. Period. The mistake was yours. You're the one in the business. YOU should know what the market rate is. YOU should know what price is too low. Your estimate shouldn't have been "$300 off." That is extremely unprofessional. Please stay away from this company. They are straight up shady. Also, Matt told us "It's just me and my dad here, Frank." When we talked to "Frank" on the phone, he sounded like he was about 25-30 years old. So either Matt is a 2-year-old, or someone's lying.
