This transport company goes by many names. USA Auto Transport, Roadrunner Auto Transport Inc, Roadrunner Towing Inc. Be wary of these company names.

I trusted my BMW dealer's recommendation to use this company. The quote was $1350 and I was quoted about $500 less by highly rated companies such as Creative Transports. I thought the extra money might be well spent.

I was pleased when they picked it up promptly but from there the car went into a black hole. I did not receive any calls from the driver nor the transport company. I had to call in, leave a message and Jason usually got back to me pretty fast. After about 3 days, I called to see what the status was. Jason told me I should see the car in 6-7 days and that the driver would call me. Well, on day 6, no one had called me so I again called and left a message on an answering machine. Jason again returned the call fairly quickly and told me that my car would be delivered the following day. Well, day 7 rolls around and no phone calls. I call Jason and he sounds surprised that they haven't called me. He calls the driver and says he is running a day late and I will get the car for sure the next day. Day 8 comes around and I have yet to hear from the driver. I call, leave a message again, and Jason calls back. He sounds surprised again the driver did not call and says he will call me back. Well, before he's able to call back, the towing company calls me. It's some towing company called Pioneer. They said they tried to call me at both of my phone numbers and could not get through. Well, I have caller ID and call logging on both of the phones and I can guarantee you that they did not try to call. If they did try to call, why didn't they bother to leave a message?

Pioneer Towing tells me that the driver will deliver before noon. While I am on the phone with them, I got a call waiting beep and it was Jason on the other line but I didn't want to take it because I'm trying to schedule delivery with Pioneer. After I get off the phone with them, I check my voicemail and am shocked at the tone Jason took with me on the message. The ONE time the tow company calls me and he has to leave a message, he claims that they have been trying to call me and he can't even get through to me. So he says "I don't know what's going on but they have been trying to call you and can't get through to you" but in a very frustrated tone as if I had been impossible to reach. So when I get home and check my voicemail on my home phone I heard the same type of message. Well, in the end, the car was delivered at about 12:40 PM. It wasn't damaged and that's about the only good thing I can say.

The communication was very poor, the transport company never contacted me without me contacting them first. The driver didn't contact me until the day of the delivery. They contracted my delivery out to another company which delivered my car on a single car flatbed truck though I know that it was originally shipped out on a multi-car truck. Jason accused me of not being reachable which was a flat out lie, no one called me, it's not in my phone logs, and no one left me a message. I've rarely been so insulted. The truth as I see it is that they contracted my transport out to other companies which they had little or no control over. To top it all off, I spent about $500 more than I should have and the car arrived at least a day late.

Stay away at all costs!

You just can't make some people happy I guess. We had this client's new BMW p/u the very next morning after he signed a contract with us (within 12 hours). His car was delivered in 8 days across the country in perfect condition. He was told it would be delivered in 7 to 10 days. We answered dozens of phone calls from this client and he was always aware of the location and staus of his car, like all of our clients are. I guess he thought we were fed ex and his car was the only one on the truck. The BMW dealership that referred us still refers us to this day. Noone else has ever had an issue with our service.
