Becareful, many promises but don't come through

I just finished disputing the deposit charge with my credit card company, and thought I would finally write the review. The issue started back in May 2014. Wanted to give them a chance to make things right but ofcourse after they received my deposit, good luck getting a hold of someone at the company. I'd be happy talk with anyone in more details and show you emails to see how bad these guys are.

Here are a summary of details:
When initially quoting me for the service, they made all sorts of promises (mistake 1, i took their word) like they can pick up the car within 24 hrs. I needed that as i was incurring storage charges. Promise 2 they will cover storage fees if they cannot pick up within 24 hrs. Asked to send an updated contract with that wording, but never received it.

After 4 days, I still was not able to get a hold of anyone, so I immediately got another transporter to pick up the car. I've tried calling Xavier, Shane, their customer rep line, left voicemail, sent email asking or updates and then eventually asking for a refund of the deposit and till this day, no one has called me back or emailed me back. Almost a week from when they charged me the deposit, I got a hold of Xavier stating he wasn't available as he was out sick. (understood but is the company a one man show).

I immediately went to my credit card company to dispute the charges and you should the see the lies they told the credit card company. Stuff along the lines that they contacted me and informed me that I won't get my deposit back, when Xavier had told me over the phone to request a refund, which I already had done days before getting a hold of Xavier.
So glad i saved all emails from the numerous attempts i've made to them, as the credit card company reversed the charges. I do hope they go after these guys and at the least don't allow the to use that specific credit card service.
For your own good, stay away from these guys.

Hello, I just wanted to take the time to apologize that we could not fulfill the shipping arrangements for your vehicle. While each order is different and comes with its own challenges we do always try to accommodate the request to the best of our ability. The unfortunate thing on our end is that while we do move over 100 vehicles per month we do run into issues with a few out of the lot. We understand that we need to be better at our communication and we will work to the best of our ability to make the process of shipping vehicles as smoothly as possible. I would like to also advise any possible clients who may be looking at these reviews of a few things. First, we are a broker and we do not own any trucks. While we understand that everyone needs or wants to save as much money as possible the prices we come up with are meant to be balanced for You the customer and also for the drivers that we deal with. Many issues arise in this industry when clients feel that prices should be way lower. Also it is important to understand that every call you receive will be from brokers such as ourselves who use the same tools when communicating with carriers. The difference from broker to broker will be the number of relationships and the strength of relationships that each may have with any particular carrier. I would also like to note that we do not intend to hold onto any ones money when we cannot accomplish our task. Also understand that when we do receive a counter offer from a carrier it is up to you the client to accept the offer or not. We will never dispatch a vehicle without getting confirmation from the customer first. As is human nature it seems that folks will flock to review sites or any form of an outlet to share their negative experience. We have been in business for over a year now and have had many happy customers but it is very easy for people to go along with their lives as usual once they receive everything in perfect condition. We have read these comments and while we have rebuttals for every one of them we thought that it would be better to just apologize and to let you who are reading this know that we will work on the areas that are weaknesses.
