Very Long Delay in Delivery

I shipped my 69 Olds 442 in an enclosed trailer, pickup August 23 was fine, delivery was to be in 10 to 14 days estimated... took 45 DAYS. Selwyn (US Canada Auto Transport) was always apologetic when I phoned, but getting a truck to Saskatoon seemed the problem. Car was shipped from New Hampshire via Bellingham, Wash. then Vancouver across to Saskatoon. Mackie Transport (Oshawa, ON) delivered last leg, Ron, their driver, was very courteous, professional and very cautious when handling and unloading my car. I was informed that Mackie does runs up the east coast quite often and then across Canada... don't know why US Canada Auto Transport did not use them. Would have been a more direct route. Based on the delay in getting my car delivered I would be hesitant to recommend US Canada Auto Transport.
