Never do business with this UFirst Auto

Contrary to the positive ratings I read on UFirst Auto Transport, my experience was horrific.

The lack of communication from UFirst Auto Trans coupled with multiple un-kept scheduled pickup times leads me to this negative review.

I was assuming a leased car from a resident in NY (Joe) and hired UFirst to move it to me in PA. I had a finite window (2 days) to get the BMW out of Joe's apartment garage and onto an auto transporter. UFirst agreed to a scheduled pickup on 1/29/14 (after 3:30 pm) and never showed up. Being the one ultimately footing their transport charge, I should have at least received a phone call/email that the scheduled pickup fell through. Well - no such communication occurred. Their website 'tracking' is a farse. The 'tracking' results state they will contact you (they did not call me).
I had to call Christine on 1/30/14 (10:00 am) to find out what plan B was going to be. 'Trying to locate a carrier for me' I was told. And again, this was after the fact that they supposedly had one scheduled on 1/29 for a pickup.
Called Don 1/30/14 (12:30) for a status on the situation and Don told me I was 'upsetting' him (!!) since the update 2.5 hours ago was the update and that I should just work with Christine.
Contrary to Christine telling Joe on 1/30/14 that pickup was certain this day since there were 2 trucks in the NY area, Christine then (4:30) admits that pickup would not occur on 1/30/14.
The following 2 days (1/31/14-2/1/14) zero communication from UFirst to me.

The lack of execution for a scheduled pickup by UFirst Auto resulted in unnecessary waiting around on Joe's (NY) part and forced me to move the car myself.

Firstly this client never sent back the necessary paper work which is needed for us to consider the shipment as a booked reservation. We worked on his order as a courtesy. He advised he would like his car picked up after 3:30 on 1.29 and would only give us from that time to the end of the day to pick up his vehicle. He claims he gave us two days, this is false and we have email correspondence to prove it. We explained to the client his window is very small and we typically always need a few days but we will see what can be done. We were upfront with this person from the beginning. Unfortunately the day he wanted his vehicle picked up NY was hit with a snow storm and transporting in that vicinity went on hold until the snow and ice were cleared. Our dispatch spoke with both Fred and Joe on the 29th 5 times advising the situation. Again we have logs to back this up. The only time they contacted us and did not receive a response was after business hours which Fred kept doing even after all our voicemails; emails and website clearly show we work from 10am to 6pm. Yes we moved two vehicle/s on the same route the week prior to this shipment but the weather was clear and this vehicle would of also moved on time if it did not snow. The weather is out of our control and we did everything we could to try and work things out but this client didn’t want to hear it.
