I strongly discourage EVER using this company who farmed out my job to a company called Pyramid Transport. My car was a day late being picked up from what I was told on the phone (which differed from the confirmation in writing). It was then 2 days late getting into New York. The transport company rummaged through my car and moved things, ran down 3/4 of a tank of a full tank of gas and either lost or stole an expensive item in my car. This in turn cost my company an additional 2 days of a rental car. I've tried to get Pyramid to reimburse for the item missing or find it and have gotten no response back. I called Don Tackett today who YELLED at me on the phone after me telling him I'm not going away and someone is going to pay for this item which was around $150.00. He said "I'm not paying for anything" and I should take it up with the carrier. They are not responding. I told him I would call the better business bureau which I will do on both companies and post negative reviews which I'm doing if something wasn't done to make this right. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me "I'm washing my hands of you as all I wanted was $ which is not true. I said I would overlook the gas and the fact the car was 2 days late but I wanted the other item replaced. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company, do yourself a favor, don't EVER use these people or Pyramid Transport.

Mr Murano booked his auto shipping on 10.25 from CA to NY. His first available date was 11.7. We explain to every one of our clients that we need a couple of day window in case of any delays as the carriers are picking up 7-9 other vehicles in the same area. This is also noted on the confirmation that was sent to this client (see below.) CONFIRMATION Name: Douglas Moreno Your pick up dates are as follows: Estimated Pick up dates: 11/7/2011 - 11/8/2011 Mr. Murano was dispatched within a few hours of booking his order and was picked up on 11.8 in the morning. Pyramid Transport contacted the client the night before to arrange all of this. This client filled up his vehicle with Gas before it was picked up which we asked him not to do. During his transport there was gas dripping down on the vehicle below him, the driver had no other choice but to Siphon some gas out to prevent damaging the car below. He then demanded compensation for the gasoline and the driver agreed to do this even though he didn't have to since the customer took it upon himself to fill up his car with gas after he was asked not to. Mr Murano's vehicle was ONE day late, the driver had truck problems along and unfortunately this was out of anyone's control. We were constantly on the phone with the mechanic and driver following up and providing Mr. Murano with all updates. It is in the carriers best interest to get to their destination as fast as legally possible, deliver their load and start new pick ups as this is how they make their money. We tried to compensate the client for a one day car rental and work things out but the client became infuriated and began yelling at our dispatcher. This is when the call was transferred to Don. Don asked this client to please calm down and call back later when he was able to have a conversation without screaming and cursing. Four days after delivery Mr Murano called to say a pillow was missing and wanted $200 for that!! Throughout this persons entire shipping all he did was ask for money and repeatedly called screaming. We tried to work with him and accommodate his needs as much as possible but he was clearly getting out hand and unreasonable .
