Needless to say I went away to the Dominican Republic for two weeks. A day before leaving the shipping company: Turbo Auto Transport calls me and says they will be coming to pick up my car. They send a flatdeck to pick it up to bring to their storage facility as they load the carrier there. Fine, paperwork is sorted and the car is loaded. Needless to say after a few emails get sent out in D.R. my car has not been recieved in Portland yet. I call from my hotel and ask where it is...there were problems and it just crossed the border. Okay fine. I get back to Canada...find out that the car hasn't moved...driver is sick...car should be arriving in portland on Thursday. Call the shipping company on Thursday and find out the car is actually in a shipping yard 3km from my home.
I found the car in a foot of snow, completely dirty. The tires were solidified in about an inch of ice that had melted off the car during a warm spell during the 3 weeks...a tow truck had to yank me out. Also needless to say a screw was also in my rear right tire.

At the end of all this the owner (Jeff) said he was sorry and to show he felt sorry for me...he shipped me the bill.
Never ship with Turbo Auto Transport.
