DO NOT SHARE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WITH THEM AND BEWARE OF THE CANCELLATION FEE and a bunch of hidden fees. In my opinion, they are very shady and have unfair business practices.

I was looking for quotes for moving my car from San Jose to Toronto and Turbo Auto was one of the ones with the lowest quote, atleast that what I was told by the primary sales person, Blaine (480-336-2587). When Blaine transferred my case to Nikki (1-888-418-4029 X105) is when things started going south, very quickly. Initially Nikki was all nice and agreeable. I even gave her my credit card information (I have moved my car twice and had no reason to mistrust this agency) on the promise that there would be no charges on my card until the contract was finalized and the car was near the border crossing. But soon after, she informed me of the hidden fees. While everybody else was quoting the final rate, turbo auto transport's fees did not include the $200 fee for 'handling' paperwork on my behalf. In addition, there was additional ~3% fee for using credit card. I realized that this was not the right agency for me and politely told Nikki that I will consider the rate and will call her back when I was ready. But Nikki did not get the message and kept calling me almost every other day. I am not confrontational and did not have the heart to tell her a No but then a week before my car was supposed to be shipped out, my entire move had to be postponed (I was waiting for paperwork from the Canadian embassy) and when Nikki called again (and this was at least a week before my car was to be shipped out) I told her that I had cancelled the move. And I thought that was the end of it, until a week later I say a $180 charge on my credit card. When I called Nikki she told me it was the cancellation fees for the effort the agency had put in to call me (all those unsolicited calls) and for preparing the quote (are you kidding me). She mentioned it was in the T&C of the contract (what contract, what t&c) and that she did not consider it unfair at all. She refused to acknowledge that not once she mentioned the cancellation fee to me.. not when when she took my cancellation fee and not when she confirmed the cancellation. I called Blaine immediately and he asked me to confirm whether the transport truck had been dispatched. I said no (of course no truck had been dispatched since I had informed Nikki a week in advance) but then he transferred the call back to Nikki who simply refused to budge. I am shocked and speechless. I have emailed this agency repeatedly asking them to send me the contract which they claimed I signed but have not hear back from them. I fully intend to dispute this charge and follow up with FTC to file an official complaint. I would strongly warn everyone to be very cautious of what they are getting into when dealing with this company and as a personal opinion, I think Nikki is not someone who can be trusted at all. And since the everyone else I spoke to at this agency supported her, I do not have a very positive opinion of this company and would warn people to stay away.

BROKERS & CARRIERS BEWARE OF THIS SHIPPER. THE NAME IS Anurag Dugar. THIS VEHICLE WAS NEVER MOVED BY TURBO. It is standard industry practice that a vehicle is not going to get moved or dispatched without getting a credit card on file for payment. We have been stung before but never again. Truck was dispatch and setup per shipper's instruction and then cancelled because he said he was going with a different carrier. Nothing was said about waiting for embassy clearance. Our office staff was called several inappropriate names BY THIS SHIPPER and they never hung up on him. SHIPPER hung up several times when our staff called to get his paperwork to cross the border.
