This was a nightmare I have transported my car several times before and was aware of all the pitfalls of these Auto Transporter Brokers. So after some research and unfortunately without reading the reviews, my BIG HUGE MISTAKE , I used trusty. Robbie assured me that he had his own trucks, lie number one. As the time of my pickup approached i heard nothing, finally 2 days before my car was suppose to be picked up i called Robbie and he had no info. Finally at 4 in the afternoon the day of pickup i got a call from the driver stating he would be there a 9 not am but PM. I had to scramble to get the car ready and it finally got picked up. The three or four day dropoff turned into over 2 weeks. The truck had broken down in Baton Rouge LA. I received 1 call from the driver and never heard anything else for at least 7 days. I texted, called and emailed Robbie and got no response. I was going to call the police because I thought the car was stolen. The only reason I knew where the car was was thru my car tracking system, the only reason I knew what the status of the truck was in was from the truck repair shop. Not from Robbie who knew nothing and didnt give a shit. I had to rent a car for 2 weeks. I will probably explore filing a law suit for the $500 in car rental fees I incurred.

Bad circumstances. Our driver did only give 8 hours notice for loading. Not our typical day before. We did load it the exact day the customer requested. He broke down outside of New Orleans. We had to wait 2 days for the parts to be sent and the repair shop ordered the wrong part. So another 2 days for new parts. Once recvd the transmission had to be rebuilt. All total it took 12 days for delivery. This does happen. We moved just over 4,000 vehicles last year. Trucks are running constantly, mechanical issues happen. Human error clicking on the wrong part # happens. We can not control that. We refused to pay $100 a day for a rental car for him. Enterprise had a Camry or Accord for $22 a day. That was fine. We are not going to be extorted with bad reviews for $100 a day. The other 8 customers on the truck didn't ask for $100 a day car rental allowance. Personal vehicles, company trucks, dishwashers, a/c units, everything in our every day life breaks down. It does not give somebody the right to blackmail a company.
