Doesn't fulfill promise and not professional

I highly recommend not using Trusty Transport as they are anything buy trustworthy.
I tried to ship a vehicle that is a bit unique, a Can Am Spyder. After reading numerous reviews I contacted Trusty Transport about my somewhat unique vehicle to be sure they could do it. I was told it would be no problem.

I was heading out of town for a week so I said how about a target date of April 19th which was 13 days from when I called. They said that would be no problem with that much notice. I thought great this going fine. Well, I return from my trip and by 4/18 I had still not heard a word from Trusty so I emailed and got a response we have the order and will look into it. The next day after hearing nothing I emailed again and got the response "not yet, soon".
The following week after again hearing nothing I called, got a voice mail and left a message that was not returned.

After getting no-where for a week I contacted another company to try to get some help. When they tried to enter my order it showed that Trusty Transport still had my order and that they would try to get it removed but that if Trusty would just cancel it that would make things go quickly.
I then very politely called and emailed Robbie at Trusty Transport asking that they cancel the order as they had over three weeks to make something happen but couldn't.
Surprise...no responses to any of my emails, no return phone call.

Robbie,

I have been patient and asked nicely that you cancel the reservation that you have been unable to fill. Please cancel it now.

David

Hello Robbie,

Please consider this email as a notice to cancel the shipping request that I started with Trusty Transport about 3 weeks ago.

Thank you,
David

All Robbie had to do was call me back and say, hey sorry, couldn't get someone to take your unique vehicle and cancel the order. I would have understood and moved on. No biggie.
Instead he chose to be unprofessional and ignore my request. The silly thing is for no reason.
I highly suggest finding someone else.

When we quoted him he agreed to the open carrier price. He said it was all standard. When we tried to load it we couldn't because it had been modified. We recommended shipping it enclosed. He refused to pay more and hired a broker who to this day is still trying to ship it enclosed at an open price. That is why you DO NOT give a credit card # in this industry. The broker is waiting for him to cancel so that they can run it. We cancelled his contract last week and the broker is telling him that we are the reason it hasn't shipped. He lied from the start to us and is now be taken advantage of by a broker. I told him if he hired somebody else to please read the fine print and do not give out a credit card #. Now he is bitter at us instead of being truthful upfront or then paying for enclosed. Now he is stuck with a broker for 30 days or he loses his $250 deposit. READ the fine print people. Do not give out a credit card.
