I must tell you that I found Transport Connection to have, without a doubt, the best customer service and that the entire transportation transaction, from start to finish, has exceeded my expectations.
The owner, Bill Avrich, is very pleasant to work with. He is honest, competent, and I found him to be a no-nonsense, straight forward, no sugar-coating type of guy. His frank and honest appraisal of my transportation situation actually made the sale. I trusted what he said, and I felt that he was sincerly interested in my well being, my cars well being, and not just some flashy salesman trying to land money in his bank account. He was the only broker, and I called over a dozen, willing to explain how the car broker/carrier exchange 'really works' through the computerized central dispatch.
I have a very large 1977 Cadillac Eldorado, 19 ft in length, and it is hard to find carriers that are willing to transport such a large vehicle when they could just as easily transport two for the same size it would occupy. I trusted what Bill advised me, we priced it slightly above the market, so that I felt assued that I would be picked up by a carrier, and I was. I know confidently that Bill negotied the best price on my behalf, and the carrier knocked off a hunderd dollars to transport my vehicle. Who else would take the time to negotiate down the price for yoU, when they could just as easily go on to the next sale? Bills experience in the industry is also helpful when choosing the carrier, only quality carriers will be assigned for transport. My vehicle was ready for delivery two days earlier, now how often does that happen? These are professional traits of someone who is deeply committed to making the process work best for me, the car owner. I cant say enough about Bill's committment to his work. I know that you will feel the same way too.
