After deciding to ship our old Volvo from Virginia to our son in Arizona, we used the internet to choose a transport company. Transpsort Connection got good reviews and their estimated cost seemed in the ballpark of what other companies were quoting. I learned that these companies are brokers and their quotes are really just estimates of what the cost will be once they find a transport company to pick up your car. Lots of factors affect the price. We were lucky to be located in a hub and sending the car to another major city; if you're off the beaten path, you'll probably pay a premium. All went well, and our car was delivered 16 days after our initial phone contact with Bill Avrich of Transport Connection. It couldn't have been smoother.
