When I initially attempted to arrange transport of three vehicles all the way across country on my own, I was extremely nervous. More specifically, I was concerned that since I was a woman, transport companies would try to take advantage of me. When I recieved a call from Bill (Transport Connection) he quickly explained the procedure to me and assured me that everything would be ok. Not only that, but he displayed a compassionate side by providing me a discount once he discovered we were a retired military family needing to move three vehicles. While I awaited the day of the transport, I became increasingly anxious and called Bill numerous times to verify the pick-up. Not only was he very patient, he always got the representative from the transporters on the phone with me to answer any questions and listen to my concerns. Additionally, the transport company was not only on time, but they arrived at the earliets time within the expected window (no hurry up and wait situation). In the end, the cars were delivered at the earliest time within the expected window with no hastles. The only negative was that one of the three cars had several light scratches along the roof and sides. When the cars are picked up, the transporters make note of every little scratch and nick which makes it appear that the car is seriously damaged and you have to sign agreement with their comments or they won't take the cars. The scratches were not there prior to the move, but we don't feel as though we have a leg to stand on. Regardless, driving the cars accross country may have produced more scratches and damage due to the 3000 miles of drive time, so it was all worth it in the long run.
