HORRIBLE transport company! This company got me to sign their contract under duress, saying they could not pick up my car unless I signed immediately. They lied from the very first time I contacted them. I was told they had their OWN trucks in my pickup area and would pick my car up the same day I called or the next day, at the latest. Beware- everything they said was a lie. They were using the same third party carriers as every other transport company and they never picked up my car. I gave them at least four chances after this. Each time I was given a new day and was ASSURED it would be picked up that day. I never received follow ups. Days after the schedule pickup, when I was sitting waiting for my car to arrive and taking time off work, the dealership would call to ask me when the car was being picked up. When I would call TransAuto, they would tell me the truck was "1 hour away" or "10 minutes away". Then, days later, my car was still sitting at the dealership. This happened MANY times. As of today, my car is still sitting at the dealership in Wisconsin. AND, THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ALL MY MONEY. Do not use this company and do not get your money stolen (and, I trusted them with my +$100,000 car... so the deposit won't break the bank- they were just THAT horrible). They are the WORST company in the industry, by far. You WILL be lied to every step of the way.

We want to thank you for your opinion and your review and we encourage everyone to put their opinion on this site so we can be able to better ourselves as a company. I apologize for your experience. Firstly, our company was clear in letting you know that we had a carrier in the area for that day. We sent you an email and specifically stated ¨Pick up for TODAY¨ as we had a carrier in the area with an empty slot. You immediately called us and we made all the arrangements to have your car picked up on that day. However, you could not confirm the exact status of your vehicle at the dealers. We called you several times asking whether or not your car was ready for transport and you said they were waiting for some papers from the bank. You even told us to go ahead and charge the late fee of an extra $50 if the carrier was waiting and your vehicle was not ready,which we did not do. Unfortunately, the carrier was only around for that day. When you were finally able to give us an update on the status of your vehicle at the dealers the next day, the carrier had already left. Our dispatcher immediately started other carriers arriving in the area or in the next state to try and get your vehicle moved. Our company went above and beyond to get your vehicle moved and unfortunately, you decided to cancel as we all here at the Transauto Transport team were trying to get picked up. Once again we would like to apologize for not getting your car moved and if you would like to use our company again, we´d be happy to do it for you without a reservation fee which is around $150 dollars.
