First, the car was delivered in a timely manner, and the price was fair. However, there was a total lack of communication from this broker. The car was available on January 10, and my wife was flying out on January 15. 2008. My wife called on the 8th and was told the driver would contact her the next day. She called again several times after the 10th and left messages that the driver had not been heard from, and received no response by phone or email. On January 14, the day before my wife was to fly to Florida, I called and talked to Tanya, (at Total Car Shipping) and followed with an email. (my wife said I would not hear back from her) I received no response by phone or email. My wife was called that night, by the trucker not the broker, and was told that his company had just been contacted about picking up the car. My wife, at the last moment, had to solicit the help of an elderly neighbor to assist with the delivery and paperwork signing with the driver. A simple call and follow-up by the broker would have made this a pleasant experience.
