We tried using the Auto Transport Group to ship our cars from Virginia to California. We booked with them months in advance, and were repeatedly assured of our pick-up dates. Pick up was supposed on a Saturday, but when we flew out to California on Wednesday, the cars were still not picked, nor did the Auto Transport Group have any carriers lined up for the delivery.

We tried working with Anthony - who is utterly incompetent. although he may be decent at other aspects of his job, he apparently does not know how to use - or answer- a phone. Anthony repeatedly assured us it would work out, and would say things like "I will call you by 10:00 am tomorrow to confirm." And then, of course, he would not call. When we finally tracked him down, he would whine and say things like "do you think I don't want to ship your cars? do you?"

After over a week of this - multiple calls and Anthony dodging and not returning the calls - we hired a different company to make the shipment. They picked up our cars the next day. DO NOT USE. We are fighting to get our deposit back. I will take Auto Transport Group to small claims court if I have to. Again...
