Irresponsible and incompetent

I placed my order on March 23 with Daniele. She seemed a nice person, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I wanted to ship a RAV4 to my daughter in Florida. I gave Daniele my address and phone number and my daughter's address and phone number. When I got the email copy of the agreement, I saw that Daniele had mangled the spelling of the destination (Joe's Crap Shake instead of Joe's Crab Shack) and also she had my phone number listed for my daughter. When I corrected the spelling, I also told her about the mis-matched phone number and she said "Oh, that's the way we do it." Oh, really?
Daniele told me a driver would be assigned in about 7 days, so when seven days passed without hearing anything, I made several phone calls to Daniele, but the phone was never answered so I left a couple of voicemails. Still no reply, so I sent an email asking for an up-date on April 1, again no response. Many phone calls were made, and a couple of more voicemails were left, but no response. Finally, I played a hunch and sent an email requesting a quote under an assumed name and using my cell number and other email address. BINGO! I got an immediate return call. I told the rep that I had used a false name because I wanted to determine if they were just ignoring me or if they had some kind of catastropic accident. He turned the call over to Preet to told me that it was difficult to find a driver at that time of year, so I asked him why, if that's true, customers weren't told this up-front. More verbal gymnastics from Preet and he promised to get the car moved ASAP. On April 4, Daniele (Finally) responded and said they were "working on it."
On April 11, I grew very tired of excuses and sent an email cancelling the order and requesting a return of the $150 deposit. Miraculously, Anthony called the very next day and promised to have a driver assigned within twenty-four hours. When nothing happened after twenty-four hours, I sent a final email cancelling the order and demanded a return of my deposit. Three days later, Preet called my home asking for my daughter (remember when I asked Daniele why they had my phone number for my daughter?) and announced a driver was on the way to pick up the car. What planet do these jerks live on?
I have since initiated a dispute with my credit card company and the $150 was credited back to my account.
Advice to the unwary: Do Not Trust The Auto Transport Group under any circumstances.
