Not Impressed with these folks

Max was very nice when I first contacted him and made arrangements for my vehicle to be transported. Due to a couple of things, I was contacting him a bit later than I should have. Was told the driver had passed my city, however for an extra $100 could double back & pick up THAT day. It was worth it to me, so I paid the $100 - signed the docs I needed to sign (without EVER thinking my vehicle would not be picked up that day) and felt relief it was going to get picked up still that day. Unfortunately, the company State by State contacted never had the order set for pick up on that day. It was scheduled for the next day, which was a Saturday between 2-3pm. I called State by State & spoke with Kelly. Told her what was going on & she said the order was in their system for pick up that day & she would 'get to the bottom of this' and get back with me. Well....by a little after 2pm my time I tried contacting State by State again to find out what was going on but office was closed. I left a message, however, no one returned my calls. It was now after 5pm Florida time on a Friday. So...made special arrangements for someone to be available for the driver since where my vehicle was located was closed on Saturdays so the pick up could in fact happen...which it did.

I contacted State by State on the following Tuesday & spoke with Kelly again. Told her I did not feel it was right for them to collect the extra $100 from me because in fact, the company NEVER had it on the schedule for Friday pick up. She assured me it must have been some reason why it was put off to the next day & I assured her there wasn't any other reason except that was the way the order was placed. I mentioned to Kelly that when I signed the documents I never even thought to put the disclaimer of the extra $100 being for pick up on Friday...because I never thought it wouldn't happen on Friday. She then switched to talking about how the contract says they really have 10 days from available to date to pick it up....yada yada yada....completing ignoring the fact that I had been LIED TO for the purpose of getting what...an extra $100 out of me!! Of course she assured me that she would contact all parties involved & 'get to the bottom of this' and get back with me. Do you think I'm going to EVER hear from her???? NOT!! The only good thing that came out of this is the company State by State contacted. They followed thru with what they said they would do...called when they said they would call....delivered my vehicle one day ahead of when they said they would be here....oh which...btw....when I spoke with Kelly on Tuesday...she told me it was scheduled for delivery to me THAT DAY!! Yeah....I will never ever ever use State by State Transporters again. And the reason why I even knew about being able to leave this comment for others???? Why it's because I got an email from them to leave a '5-star "non-compensated" comment & I would receive a Wal-Mart gift card! These folks are what give this industry the bad rep it gets!!!!

Ms. Sherry words and I quote "The only good thing that came out of this is the company State by State . They followed thru with what they said they would do...called when they said they would call....delivered my vehicle one day ahead of when they said they would be here"....In response to this dispute Ms.Sherry contacted our company at 12pm after getting stuck with express auto.Max showed her the different sites and explained our service to her .Shortly after 1pm(eastern time) Ms.Sherry signed and sent her contract back. By1:30(eastern time) we contacted Sherry to give her her drivers information they were scheduled to pick up that evening.A couple hours later Bea contacted our dispatch line to let us know the driver was a little delayed and he would still try to make it that evening and if not he would pick up in the am.They contacted the gentleman upon pick and he was fine they worked out a schedule that worked for everyone involved.Ms.Sherry called back upset I reviewed her contract with her nothing on there says same day pick up as a matter of fact she didn't even expidite the order.Max went out of his way to get this taken care of for her.But as they say you can not please everyone.In her own words we did everything we said we would do!She even posted a bad review hoping to be compensated.Its hard to be help someone who was screwed by another company because no matter what you do you still get looked at as the bad guy and screwed in the end.SAD
