DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

In early June 2011 I went searching for a company to move a car for me from NY to FLA.
When I received the quote from State 2 State I was very pleased. The first phone contact was very pleasant. I spoke to Amber. I explained I had a special situation-This car was at a home and the owner of the home was going to need the car removed from the drive-way or he was going to be fined by the county. The last possible date was July 18th. I let her know that the car was being given to us for my son to have as his very first car. All paperwork was emailed and signed. We were all excited and then the wait began. After that first call I NEVER received ONE phone call from them. I called AND emailed several times in a months span. I just kept waiting for a call to say-"We will be picking up the car on...." That call never came. July 18 was a Monday and on Friday the 15th I called and emailed. I did receive an email with the standard "We are working hard to get this done". I knew they did not have weekend hours and wrote an email to let them know I would be in search of another company if I did not hear back from them by 4pm Sunday the 17th. NEVER heard from them until Monday the 18 around 3 pm BY EMAIL -Not even the courtsey to call me on the phone and say " I think we need to increase our quote because this number isn't attracting any driver" The practice of "Low-Balling' is this companies Forte. They quoted me in the begining $495. I thought that was low but I had no experience or knowledge of how this all worked. When I found an HONEST company I was told of the practice of "Low-Balling" I can not understand why they do this. It doesn't make them any money and just plain hurts people! Stay away-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-They do not care about you or your situation. The communication between us was proof of this!

We were in communication with this customer at all times, through phone and via email. We advised her on the status on her vehicle pick up and the drivers getting their loads put together for the route. It was a very busy route and drivers were backed up. This customer cancelled her order with us and we never had the chance to transport her car.
