Better but not perfect

I waited three weeks for another transportation broker to set me up. These guys did it in a matter of hours, I was impressed. moreover it was wednesday and they said it would be picked up on friday. Nobody came... and it was not until i called back on the following wednesday that they set me up again for friday. Apparently the driver frogot me!!

This is a funny business, the people quoting you are not actually moving your car. they simply list the car and intinerary on a computer system and wait for a driver or transport company to pick it up. The broker handles some of the customer service but at some point you will need to deal directly with the driver. For that service they deduct 20 to 25% of the quote from what i can see. The quality of the service depends ultimetly on both the carrier and the broker. In my case Specialty mobile services dealt with Coastal transport. Someone in authority at Specialty (perhaps the owner that happened to deal with by chance) said he trains drivers and tries to deal with drivers he knows and trusts. The Car was dirty with an oily film on it and i needed a special treatment at a hand carwash to get it off. Otherwise car was fine and I appreciated the service.

My advice, don't worry be happy... deal with these guys if the price is reasonable.
