After arranging my pickup and delivery time with Ryan both via phone and email, I received my order confirmation, moved my car and gave my keys to a friend who would watch it until the South Metro Transport arrived to transport it. I had already moved to CA and packed my things in my SUV expecting it to arrive a week later. After the week went by with no call from Ryan telling me my car was en route, I called South Metro Transport to enquire. I received a busy signal most of the time, left a message over 10 times, and never got a response. I called another company, Cross Country Transport and spent 10 minutes on the phone with a very informative lady who assured me that my car would be picked up and delivered on time with a $100 deposit. Although I was wary (and thankful I didn't give a deposit to South Metro) I gave the deposit on the contracted terms that it was refundable if my car did not arrive. It did, on the date as promised with no thanks to South Metro Transport. Do not give these guys a deposit. Do not trust them with your vehicle. I cannot believe that I did not even get an explanation as to why my car was not picked up, or a return call from the numerous voicemails I left. Disappointed that companies like South Metro Transport still exist. They still send me email requests to ship my car! Unbelievable.
