Once the drivers got rollin’ things improved. All documents included typos with incorrect phone numbers and names; they never corrected them when brought to their attention which created problems.
Pick up scheduled for 4/20/21. 4/19 got email they can't get a driver at the cost quoted. Needed $200 more; I agreed to pay more but never was told price was not firm. They asked me to re-sign contract which still had errors.
Sonic said pick up would be 20th afternoon. I made arrangements to be there. Just before 9:00 AM on the 20th I got a text from an unknown number; ASAP request to call. This turned out to be the driver. He was trying to contact my daughter to pick up car that morning. I also got a "call me asap" text from Sonic.
I talked with the driver who was not willing to come in the afternoon as agreed. I made arrangements to have my daughter there in morning. Unfortunately, driver showed up in afternoon as I originally requested.
After this point things went very well. Car arrived on time with good communication between the driver and my son in Virginia.
Unfortunately better attention to detail upfront needed; it soured my perspective.
