Double Whammy. I booked via Honesty First a pick up in Addison, Illinois on a Monday to be picked up Wedesday w/delivery in Las Vegas. I was told $600 for a 5-7 day door to door drop off by Dave at Honesty First & figured the Infiniti Fx 45 would arrive in Vegas by the following Wednesday (7 days). Car was picked up w/no problems until the dispatch company Exit 15 Trucking, out of Salt Lake City, Utah, told me the carrier truck had broken down.
The Exit 15 Trucking dispatch was not accepting my numerous calls on Monday & I finally reached them on Tuesday to get status on the vehicle. A/c compressor issue. Well, the vehicle never arrived on Wednesday as told by Dispatch at Exit 15 Trucking. I contacted Honesty First b/c they were the original booking co. I contacted. Dave told me there was miscommunication & bla bla bla just to keep me cool. His (818) California # was answered somewhere on the East Coast. Not sure if they are in Cali. as it states on internet ?
So, today is Thursday night & the vehicle arrived at Midnight in Las Vegas w/delivery from another company that took over duties from Exit 15 Trucking. Thank the Lord.. Not sure if the Midnight delivery makes it 2 days late or not ? Doesn't matter at this point at it made it not knowing if it would make it or who was taking delivery?
I was ready to drive to Salt Lake City myself to pick up & drive. I can't even tell you the person or persons
as contact w/Exit 15 Trucking as I wanted some answers & I certainly was not getting Honesty as the Honesty First company claims. This is the 3rd Vehicle I've shipped in the past 2 years & never had any issues. Previous vehicles arrived w/in 2-3 days from New Orleans. Should've booked w/them for the same price..
Good luck w/the above companies I mentioned b/c they have 0 integrity & will call you back a few days after you've already booked & given deposit. Then, the broke down vehicle company will threaten to take your vehicle & place in storage lot & sale the vehilce.

Permafrost certainly has reason to be upset, but he is a bit TOO frosty in his review and demeanor. It was written at 1 am, so we will forgive him for his state of mind. Truck breakdowns happen and they are frustrating for all involved, and while 5-7 days is certainly the average transit time for that move, things like breakdowns are the number 1 reason that every company's Terms state that dates are not guaranteed. Personally, we think that Exit 15 did a great job by getting another carrier to deliver it for them, most companies would not do that. Keep in mind that they had to pay the second company out of the fee that they receive, therefore this breakdown cost them even more money. The customers comment about our phones is bizarre, but yes, we are in LA will VOIP phones that route through a server in Atlanta. That's a first for a negative review, but oh well. Apparently David was unsuccessful in his attempt to help Permafrost keep his cool, pardon the pun. As far as how his order with us played out, he requested a quote on 6/22 around noon, received it 10 minutes later, placed his order around 2pm that same day and by 3pm was set up with his carrier. They picked up as scheduled and were it not for the breakdown, we believe this would have been a much warmer review. Hope it helps you in your decision.
