As a Broker, Ship A Car Direct was fairly straightforward to work with. There was a lot of clarity in the discussions I had with my sales rep. My particular town in NH did not see a lot of volume for pickups, so we explored the option of the car getting picked up somewhere in MA, to increase the chances of a carrier bidding. Luck would have it that I did not need to go with that option, a carrier came through that was willing to do door-to-door service. The Carrier didn't damage my car, and they were open to communicate occasional updates. The car did arrive properly dirty/salty, but that is very hard to avoid with an open trailer. The biggest downside was that the original ETA was December 7th (picked up November 30th), but the final delivery didn't happen until December 12th. This was due to a mechanical failure on the carrier truck. Unreliability can strike without warning, so a person will need to manage their expectations and keep them reasonable. I admit, even with the expectation of not having an exact, 1-2 day accurate ETA, I did feel the transit time felt excessive. It left me not able to easily get around my new city, and made me hold off on scheduling job interviews until I knew I had reliable transportation. Perhaps this could have been mitigated some with an earlier pickup date. My actual pickup date was 4 days later than my earliest day I could give up the car. The circumstances of the shipping were not ideal, but the service itself was satisfactory, without any major issue thankfully.
