My experience with Ship A Car went well. This was a challenging shipment as I was location in PA while the vehicle, a new Ford Maverick, we at a dealer in CA. But Matt talked me through the process and the forms were easy to fill out and we were able to do this without my being present. Ship A car quickly found a carrier and the price was less than I was expecting. Kudos to Matt for coordinating and constantly sending information to let me know next steps and what to expect. Only minor complaints which were really not Ship a Car issues but more with the carrier. The carrier was going to be late picking up the vehicle and they notified my contact on the West Coast but did not notify me. i reached out to the car dealer and they provided me an update. I think the person paying for the shipment should also be notified of later than planned pickups. The second minor issue was I had emphasized to Matt and the carrier that they needed to present a Bill of Lading to the dealership or they would not release the vehicle, The driver did not have it when he arrived and said I was emailed an electronic copy which I was not. I ended up reaching out to the carrier's main number and they reacted very quickly to send me the bill of lading which I was able to forward to the dealership and calm their nerves. the last point is a suggestion for improvement. I like that there was a status page but what I wish it had is more information about where they are especially for a long distance haul like this one. I got picked up and then nothing for a week until they arrived to drop it off. It would be nice to have a little more status information along the way. None of these were big issues for me. I think they did an outstanding job and the vehicle arrived with no damage, I give them 5 stars.
