Horrendous Experience with Ship A Car Direct

My friend recommended that I ship my car from NY to CA with Ship A Car Direct. At first, everything was running smoothly, and I was set up with Mike who was to handle my shipment. Once my car was shipped, there was ZERO communication from Mike or the 3rd party company, ALW Transport. After multiple attempts to reach both companies long after the car was supposed to arrive in Los Angeles, I was finally informed that ALW crashed another car they were transporting into my BMW X5. They said that they would repair it, but again were completely unreachable for weeks and would not disclose where my car was/where it was being repaired. They finally called me 3x weeks after my car was supposed to arrive and told me that they could drop it off on a Friday night at 11PM. Upon their arrival, I was mortified by the horrendous quality of the chop-shop "repairs." They took the car back - and yet again, I couldn't reach them for over a week and finally got a text that they could delivered it another Friday night - this time at 12AM. Throughout this entire nightmare (where I was truly concerned that my car was stolen), Mike from Ship A Car Direct was ZERO help and completely took himself out of the picture. I ship my car back and forth between NY and CA often, and I have NEVER experienced such horrendous customer service and would NEVER use Ship A Car Direct ever again. Take this warning, as it's a miracle that I was able to get my car back in one piece (over a month after it was expected to be delivered).
