Very easy. Almost too easy.

It’s so easy I almost felt like it was a scam. But it’s not. You really can text or call the numbers they give you and that person will answer. One complaint and one hassle. Complaint: the icons indicating damage on the pick up app are too small to read. For example, the driver does an exam, as do you, with pictures before loading the vehicle for delivery. They mark visible damage which are indicated with yellow dots each with a two letter indicator for type of damage. In my case, (MS) for ‘multiple scratches’ and (CR) for cracked windshield. But the initials are too small to read until you get the PDF via email. Solution, ship My Car should tell you beforehand about these indicators and the initials. That said, nothing happened. My cracked windshield was just a chip (CH) and that’s how it arrived. There weren’t that many scratches as the driver indicated. I just had the body repaired before delivery. But again, the car arrived exactly as I shipped it. Concern, I paid for shipping up front with cash and didn’t have a clear receipt for such. But it was there and again, it wasn’t a problem. Both of these items are on the part of the driver and not Ship A Car Direct. So, know your damage and print out your receipt. Otherwise, it’s all good. Also, you can in fact leave stuff in the car at your own risk. The Accord that went on after my Element was absolutely stuffed with personal items. I had a tool box in the back seat that I didn’t want to ship. It arrived safely.
