Like many other people, I chose Honesty First after a horrible experience with another transport company. The name caught my eye and I thought I'd give them a chance, although my expectations were not high. All I can say is...

I WISH I HAD CHOSEN THIS COMPANY FIRST!!!

Nicole was the representative with whom I communicated. She was articulate, informative and professional. She explained the process clearly and in great detail.

The cost for the service was $850. Honesty First was paid $150 for their brokering services and $700 went to the trucking company/driver who actually transported my car from Oakland, CA to Satsuma, AL. The car was listed as being available for pick-up beginning on June 4, 2009. It was picked up on June 15 and delivered on June 24.

Customers should know that the vast majority of transport services are provided by a combination of a broker and a trucking company. There is most likely going to be a delay between the time the car is available for pick up and the time it is actually picked up because the fees being paid are obviously not enough to warrant a truck driver taking just one vehicle. The drivers need the extra time to pick up enough other vehicles to make the trip profitable. So it makes sense that the higher the offer to the driver, the faster your car will be picked up. If you want it fast, it definitely won't be cheap.
