I've heard the horror stories. I chose ship a car direct bc they seemed most on top of their game with customer service. They have an app to record any damage. They were with me through the whole process. Very professional business. Though there was a little reasonable wiggle room for date and pickup location. I got my vehicle 2 days early. I was very happy and I recommend this company.
