Car never picked up

Before I decided to use ShipaCarDirect, I carefully did my due diligence and read all the customer reviews on this company. However after my experience from hell, I would not recommend them. Reason is the driver never showed up after 3 days of waiting with their subcontractor eFreight Transport LLC. We were on a tight schedule and we’re only going to be in Seattle for 4 days before leaving on a flight to my daughters new home in another state. Because of the no show and having to scramble to make new arrangements with another carrier, I missed my flight and was forced to stay behind in Seattle to wait for pickup by a new carrier. During the 3 days we were scheduled for pick up and waiting to hear from the driver, the communication was substandard and unacceptable. Although ShipaCarDirect answered our calls, there was no resolution and basically their hands were tied because they could not reach their subcontractor eFreightTransport LLC. I am holding ShipaCarDirect responsible for this mishap. Where is their due diligence in using eFreightTransport LLC ? The rep for eFreight Transport had very poor communication skills and stopped answering his phone when we tried to reach him. Gave me unacceptable response that the driver was in the area loading cars. Gave me 3 different pick up dates and times, none of which were met. This experience spoiled our vacation plans in Seattle.couldn’t go anywhere too far during the day because we had to stay close to my daughters place in event driver called. ShipaCar refunded us the down payment but in my opinion, the damage had already been done. If the car was picked up on date promised, I’d be enjoying my time in my daughters new home state exploring the city and helping her settle in. The new carrier I’m using does not subcontract the pickup to other vendors. Instead they negotiate directly with the driver. I am hoping this method is a more streamlined process. Would never wish what happened to us to anyone else.

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to talk with us about this issue. To recap, we completely agree with you. This order was handled terribly. The communication was horrible and lead to having you guys wait around for this carrier who never showed up. This is a terrible business practice and we've removed this carrier from our list so that no one else has to go through what you did. We are really sorry that this happened to you on this order and we will do our best moving forward to continue to remove carriers from our list that behave in that manner. Thanks again for letting us know so we can improve in the future.
