This was a first time experience shipping a car for our family. We shipped from Sacramento, CA, to Champaign, IL. We didn't know where to begin or what to expect. Quickly realized that the world of auto transport was a whole subculture of its own, and it was very difficult to differentiate the reputable companies from the shady ones. Researched Yelp, Google, other online reviews, and even tried friends and neighbors. Glad we found Transport Reviews as it seemed legitimate and trustworthy. Compared several companies, got quotes from a few. Ship a Car Direct was not the cheapest but I was impressed by the comprehensive information on their website and the excellent communication from Christina, our sales/customer service representative. The carrier she connected us with was also fantastic to work with - very personable, professional, efficient, responsive, and also with excellent communication every step of the way. Car arrived on time and in perfect condition. My overall experience with both Ship a Car Direct and Jones Motor was excellent, and I'm very happy with the process and outcome. Everyone at Ship a Car Direct made an unknown and unfamiliar task a very comfortable, professional, and efficient experience.
