Ship A Car Direct is a good service/broker. The agents who schedule everything, take your up front deposit, and manage expectations are on point. The drivers themselves are a little enterprising. We loaded our car up (as many do), and he wanted to exact a little higher "toll" from us to have those things in the car due to the weight/load restrictions. I did not mind, but ship a car direct did not tell us that these drivers are a little enterprising that way. I don't mind tips at the end of the long haul, but I did not appreciate being solicited in that manner. Overall, a good service. Trucking companies which bid for our request to transport seem to be licensed/bonded and registered with the Dept of Transportation (they all have the D.O.T. registered numbers on their trucks), and Ship A Car Direct is always available by email and phone (and text). I transported two cars, three times, and not a dent. Delivery time was a bit late on one of the ocassions, but overall, I'm happy. Go for it, if you want to choose this company. :)
