The customer service rep (David) was very personable, not pushy at all, and followed up promptly when I forgot to call back after comparing with other companies. The educational videos this company has on their website were also helpful and boosted my confidence in their honesty. This was one of the major reasons I felt comfortable going with them. HOWEVER I had two issues for which I am deducting a star: 1) The initial price discussed and the final price ended up being >$100 difference. I understand that this is a bidding process, but felt I wasn't contacted with enough lead time to be able to actually decline the new price that I was offered because I needed my vehicle picked up within the next 1-2 days. 2) My desired pickup and drop-off days were a week apart (although the actual transit time between origin and destination would only take 2-3 days). This was explained to customer service and indicated on the form I filled out. When the driver arrived to pick up my car he had no idea that this was the case and kept telling me that my car would arrive in 2-3 days (which would have been a bad situation since I wouldn't be at the destination until a week later and would have no one to accept it!) Pickup was on a Saturday morning and I tried calling both the direct line given to me by David and the general customer service number and no one was answering. The driver ended up calling his dispatcher, who also was confused about the drop-off date but agreed to store my car in their facility for the extra few days at no cost to me. Everything ended up working out fine but the moments of panic before I handed my keys over to a driver where I was unsure what was going to happen to my car on the other end was definitely not ok and clearly indicated some level of miscommunication between this company and the carrier.
