I have never shipped a car before, so I was a little nervous about the whole thing. Called several companies and after talking to several started to understand how the whole broker / carrier shipment process worked. When I talked to Renee at Ship A Car Direct, she was the most helpful in explaining the process to me. Setting up the shipment was very easy to do. I was quickly assigned a carrier (Delivery By Delivery 1 Inc). The first shipment date fell thru, as the delivery truck was broken down, but they got it rescheduled within a couple days. No biggie, I was not in a hurry. I was on the delivery end and the gentleman I purchased the vehicle from was on the pick up end. The only thing I would suggest would be a little better communication from the carrier (ie I knew the date of pick up and delivery, but had absolutely no idea of the timing at either end ). I initiated the communication both days to find out what was going on. Once contacted, I was able to get the information that I needed and the delivery went smoothly.
