I had my car shipped from Seattle, WA to Ann Arbor, MI through ship a car direct. My car was shipped to me one day earlier than the estimation delivery date in good condition. The carrier contacted me on the day of delivery earlier in the day that he would arrive around 7pm that night, which helped me prepare.
The only thing is that my ideal pickup date is 8/5, but they didn't find a carrier for me until 8/7. I called my agent to check on the status everyday. I didn't have much experience with car shipping, so it was kind of stressful that I had to keep reaching out. I wish they can communicate more during the process of finding a carrier.
