This was a first for me. Not knowing how long the process takes , I started getting quotes 1 month in advance. I've learned right away the best time to do it is about 1 week ( or less) before shipping date. From all the reviews at transportsreviews.com, ShipACarDirect stood out. They were not the cheapest option but if you want the risk to be minimum, they are the right choice. Matt answered all the questions for me and kept me updated during the process. They even have a phone app to help you record your car's condition at departure and at delivery.
I would recommend ShipACarDirect, if you are looking for a reliable shipping company.
