Great experience meeting the truck which took my vehicle from NY to Texas. Before he left, the driver informed me he was not the driver taking the truck to Texas. However, I was disappointed with the lack of communication with the actual driver on the other end. I knew the truck was scheduled to be delivered to me on June 19 or 20. On the evening of the 19th, I received a voice mail from the driver who wanted me to choose a spot to meet him in Dripping Springs, TX. I chose the Home Depot 2 miles from me and we agreed to meet at 8am on Saturday. On Saturday morning at 7:21 I texted the driver to make sure we were "still looking good for 8am?" . I received no response. While sitting in the Home Depot parking lot at 8:02 I received a text from the driver that said he was "running late 2 hrs". I responded, "You just figured that out?" No response. My wife and I went home and at 9:28 I received a text from the driver: "Sorry". We waited until 10:37am when I texted again "ETA?". At 10:51 he sent a screen shot of his GPS showing he wouldn't arrive until 11:30. I understand the concept of a "delivery window". But our plans for the morning had to be scrapped because of the delays and inaccuracies of his texts to me. Not a huge deal, but certainly inconvenient. The truck is in great shape. There are no issues. I would use Ship A Car Direct again and recommend this service to others.
