I had a great experience with Ship A Car Direct. It was my first time having to ship my car across the country and I was extremely nervous. John was the first person I've spoke to and he explained everything that I need to know and what I need to do. He updated me on the status of my car throughout the process. I just did not have a good experience with the carrier they used to ship my car. Ship A Car Direct dispatched my car to Umbrella Auto Transport. The first driver who picked up my car was great. I thought he was the one delivering the car to my final destination but he said a second driver will take over. During that process, I was not able to reached the first driver because of his reception. So I contacted Umbrella Auto Transport a week later assuming it will take some time before they have new information on the second driver but the communication with the staffs were not good and the phone calls felt rushed. So I contacted Ship A Car Direct for a follow up and was able to receive an update. Ship A Car Direct said my second driver will be announced by the next day which was two days from delivery. Umbrella Auto Transport called me the next day to let me know Alisher is my second driver upon delivery. He was not friendly. Upon delivery, my boyfriend was told to take his time to examine the car before signing the bill of lading. It has not been 5 minutes and the driver kept giving him the form and rushing him to sign it. He noticed the final bill of lading had new writings on it like "bent" on both car doors and that were different from the initial form upon pick up. He asked about it and Alisher said he doesn't know anything about it and he just wanted him to sign the forms. My boyfriend circled the ones they wrote of the new markings and took note of that on the form that was not there during the initial form just in case. Overall, Ship A Car Direct had been good with the communication and assisting me with my questions. Thank you!
