I needed to transport my BMW from California to South Carolina due to a military permanent change in duty station. Ship a Car Direct was very helpful. They directed me to a communicative carrier that provided proof of insurance when picking up the vehicle and called/texted me at least once daily as my car moved across the continental US. My car was in great shape when it got to South Carolina (approximately three and a half days which was way faster than I expected) and when it was ready to be delivered the driver gave me a 24 hour notice in order to set up a time window. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
