I searched for a transportation company for a few weeks for our move from NY to TX. First, I used uship. Many of the reviews turned me away from the various transportation companies. I found Ship A Car Direct online. After reading reviews and watching their helpful videos online, I decided to go with this company. The videos in the site ensure that you will be well taken care of. The owner speaks very highly of the company and they assure that they’ve got your back 100%. They even offer to pay up if the transport company damages your car and decides not to pay you. I started my process with Renee. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. A few days later, I received an email that they found a carrier for me. Let me just warn you that both these companies are very “relaxed.” They will literally contact you the day before or day of pick up to give you a time estimate. I was nervous for a bit, but both Sigma Transportation and Ship A Car Direct were professional. Nick from Sigma called me the same day of pick up and gave me a 2 hour time frame. He picked up both my sedans with a carrier that carries 4 cars. He explained to me that it will probably take 5 days to get my car from NY to Houston. Fortunately, 5 days later, my cars arrived on time. Only problem is that they accumulated a lot of soot from the truck’s exhaust. I would definitely use this company again. If you decide to go with this company, just know that they are very “chill” and will give you an estimated pick up day. That same day or night before, the carrier will reach out to you and give you a time frame. Just make sure that your street has enough space for a small car carrier. They need to be able to tow your car from the street without blocking traffic. If not, you’ll probably have to meet up in a parking lot. Hope this helps.
