Shipped a SUV across the country from northeast to west coast in an enclosed container. Pricing was not the cheapest, but competitive enough among other options I was looking at. I was given the standard timing estimates - try to get a carrier in 3-4 days from time that the car is ready (not when you confirm going with Ship a Car Direct). It could have gone 3-4 days or longer, which was a concern. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that a carrier was assigned the day after the car was ready for pickup, well before the 3-4 days. The carrier was MSP Trucking, and while their communications were limited - I had to call them and the driver to get updates - they picked up the car 1 day earlier than expected, and they delivered the car 2 days earlier than expected. The car was slightly dirty upon pickup, but no damages so no issues there. Despite the limited communications, the delivery was flawless and I'd use them again. On the other hand, Ship a Car Direct sends lots of emails, mostly automated emails. Over communicating is better than not, so just read what you want. Overall, process was smooth and exceeded expectations. Would use again.
