After a previous poor shipping experience, one of my top criteria before choosing a shipping service was BBB ratings. I have noticed that BBB ratings help ensure a reasonable level of customer service. I was not interested in wasting time negotiating a price and Ship a Car Direct provided me with a honest upfront price which I found reasonable. They are a brokerage so they tend to subcontract to a transporter who will take care of the actual shipping. But unless you personally know a transporter who will transport your cars safely it is wise to use Ship a Car Direct for the peace of mind they provide. I conducted my entire transaction online, I ended up never speaking to anyone from Ship a Car Direct and I liked it that way. Updates were provided to me on my mobile phone and kept me updated on pick up dates etc. On the scheduled day the transporter gave me a call picked up the car and dropped it off earlier than scheduled in Pennsylvania. The driver of the truck was very flexible about dropping off the car at a time that was convenient for us. Outstanding experience and would definitely use them again.
