I never shipped a car before, and before I called Ship a Car, I’d hired a transport company that I had to keep calling for updates and found out the day the car was scheduled to be picked up that the carrier had canceled the pickup without informing me or the transport company. The transport company told me “it’s just how the industry works,” and I’d have to wait another 3 days just to find out if the pickup could be rescheduled. I fired them that day and called Ship a Car. My Ship a Car representative was terrific. She researched my order with the previous company and determined that they had low-balled the job and so I ended up with a lousy carrier. She coached me on making a reasonable bid (wasn’t that much more) and within only a few hours, the pickup was scheduled for the following week. My representative followed up with me frequently with updates. When the job got underway, I found that the carrier was also terrific. He explained exactly what was going on and made me feel comfortable that he had the job under control. He delivered the car on time, right when he said he would, with no problems. I would definitely use Ship a Car again.
