Ship a Car Direct is a really well-run organization. I read at least 30 reviews before deciding to use them to transport my sister's car from Rhode Island to South Carolina. She had tried unsuccessfully to arrange transport and had received innumerable quotes, mostly unrealistic, and innumerable phone calls. I wanted a company that could offer a realistic price, time frame, and good follow-through and communication. This company provides that. They have developed really good tools: informative videos, clear explanatory pages, automated and timely emails, very quick response times to questions. I ran a sales organization for 35 years and I was really impressed with every facet of their order processing. The transport company that ultimately picked up the bid was good and their driver was absolutely terrific. He was super friendly, polite, very careful with the car. He had 12 years experience driving these huge trailers so that inspired confidence. He delivered the car even earlier than promised ...with no damage and not even dirty. This could have been a dreadful experience and I had read about horror stories. I'm happy to say that both my sister and I are happy customers.
