I moved from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania and gave Matt from Shipacardirect a four day window for a pick up with about a weeks notice. I was quoted $500 for the car shipment.
Matt couldn't find a suitable carrier in time for the original pickup window. A day after I was already in Pennsylvania, Matt found a carrier- Goldenway Trucking Company with driver Manuel. However, there had to be a price increase for Goldenway to take my car ($150 more than the quote). Good thing is Matt reimbursed half of the $150 cause it was a lot more than the original quote. In total I paid about $575 (driver) + ~$200 (shipacardirect) for the car to be moved.
Manuel was awesome. Super respectful, answered all my questions and was in contact with updates a lot. He was also willing to pick up my car early. I moved on a Tuesday. He was assigned my pickup on Wednesday and picked up my car that same day (a day earlier than expected) and my car was delivered by Friday in the same condition I left it in.
I wish shipacardirect was a little more proactive with their emails. I had to ask if them if the price was the same after the carrier was assigned. Had I not, I would have been surprised about the price increase and maybe would not have had enough cash to pay the driver. Once a question is asked though their responses were reasonably quick and courteous.
Overall, my experience with shipacardirect was a good one. It went as seemlessly as it could after my pickup window was missed. I appreciate the respectfulness of both Shipacardirect and Goldenway.
