I researched a lot of shipping companies to ship my car from Texas to California. After speaking with other agents at other companies and getting 10+ emails a day from others, I chose Ship a Car Direct because I felt comfortable with the specialist on the phone and she was not pushy for services like some of the few that I spoke with. She was very upfront about the costs and how the process worked. Other companies would send me very low quotes in my opinion to get my business and would later charge me additional fees. Ship a Car Direct's rates were not the lowest I was quoted but not the highest either. I felt like their rate was very reasonable. Throughout the process, my specialist gave me updates and sent me emails to stay informed. The driver was very nice and polite. I just kept in contact with the driver to make sure we agreed on a place to pick up the car. Other than that, the whole process was easy and I did not have any problems whatsoever. Car arrived with no damages and fairly quickly. I would recommend Ship a Car Direct and definitely use their services again. Side note - I do remember receiving a call from another shipping company that I had previously received an estimated quote either online or on the phone where this particular agent kept insisting that I had signed an agreement with them and that they had a driver already coming to pick up my car. I knew that I did not sign with them but they kept insisting and said I was lying. Then after I hung up the phone another associate from that same company called me again and started yelling at me saying that I did call them to set up a pick up time. I know I didn't ever ask them to find me a driver nor did I ever sign an agreement with them. So beware of those companies that are too pushy.
