My overall experience with ShipACarDirect was great, however!... they are not the ones that actually ship your car. Instead they hire a local company to do it for them. This is when things get.. not very fun.. They just created a shipping request for me, gave me the phone number of the local company and Godspeed. The pick-up date is not guaranteed at all, so I had to contact the company and struggle with them directly to get an estimate date. Also the payment to the local company is a PAIN, since they only take cash or "certified checks"... They did not picked up my car, instead I had to take it to them because they were "too busy to pick it up".. Anyway, my car was taken from point A to point B with no damage. I would suggest implementing something to be able to pay online for EVERYTHING, not just the deposit and a little bit more involvement in making sure the local companies know whats going on.
