I called quite a while before they send out to drivers to pick up your car. I was in Indianapolis and wasn't told until much closer to move date that it can be hard to get a pick up in smaller cities, and that is important info. Also, they person put in the wrong dates which may or may not have affected the pick up. I was getting really anxious because i was moving shortly and no one had picked up the order. I kept getting contact but it wasn't helpful contact , just saying they will keep trying but no real info. The person was nice enough but I felt like I had to keep emailing and following up to get things done. I got a call and literally had to drive home really fast, and get my family member to follow me 45 min south of where we were or i was NOT gonna get my car picked up. The driver said I was really lucky he picked it up because no one else would have. He wasn't trying to be rude, just real and I wish I had known that from the beginning so I could prepare myself or figure out alternatives. I could have arranged to go to Chicago etc. Also, my car took about 10 days all together and when you go 7-8 days with no update and my point person can't give me an answer on where my car is or if it will be there on the estimated date, that scares you. I have a brand new leased car and I was freaking out! I texted the main driver and he didn't answer and then the guy and ship a car just kept saying 'I'll call dispatch for updates' but i never got them and had to keep emailing. I think when you have people's cars and they are nervous, you need to find that info out. It's nerve racking to just give your new car over to a stranger and hope for the best. They are not working with a ship a car person, it is a driver from a dispatch network and no direct affiliation. be aware that you may get a little anxious
